Kim Hurley, MSN, MBA, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner

Kim completed her Masters’ degrees in Nursing and Business Administration at Loyola University Chicago.  She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  She has worked as a special procedures nurse in the section of Vascular & Interventional Radiology here at The University of Chicago Medicine since 2009.  Prior to this, her nursing career consisted of several positions within the Emergency Department including manager, educator, and staff nurse.  Her interests include patient teaching and Translational Medicine.

Kate Lorimer, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner

Kate received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Bradley University and went on to complete her Master’s for Family Nurse Practitioner at Loyola University. She has worked at both Northwest Community Hospital in Cardiology and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Interventional Radiology (IR).

"IR provides patients with diagnosis and treatment options in virtually the whole body system. All while remaining minimally invasive, leading to reduced discomfort and complications to the patient."

Ruby Bailey, NP-C
Nurse Practitioner

Ruby received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in nursing at Purdue University.  She has worked previously at Methodist Physician Group in Internal Medicine and OB/GYN as a nurse practitioner.  She joined The University of Chicago Medicine Interventional Radiology team to continue her interest and career in IR.

Nurse Practitioner
Shonda received her Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree in Nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University.  She has worked as an intensive care unit nurse here at The University of Chicago Medicine since 2004.

​Ambereen Yousuf, MD

Research Project Professional

Dr. Yousuf received her medical degree in 1999.  Early on in her career she worked on a federally-funded public health research project.  Her interest in clinical research subsequently led her to pursue a certificate in Clinical Trials Management at the University of Chicago.  She is currently involved in several research projects at the University of Chicago including the Philips HIFU trial.

E. Bruce Jamison, RT
MRI Technologist
Bruce Jamison is an MRI Research Technologist at The University of Chicago Medical Center.  He graduated with the Highest Scholastic Achievement Award from Malcolm X College Diagnostic Radiology program.  Bruce earned his advance certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from Triton College. He previously studied Computer Science at Governors State University.  He is registered with the ARRT in Computer Tomography, Magnetic Resonance and Radiography.  He has been published in the Journal of the Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and the American College of Cardiology for his involvement in Cardiac MRI.  Bruce is on the cutting edge of his profession and is one of the first technologists in the country to work with MRI-guided prostate laser ablation, as well as MRI-guided HIFU of the uterus and prostate.
